Kohima, March 29 (MExN): State Office of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), Department of Health and Family Welfare, held workshops for medical professionals, members of Nagaland Medical, AYUSH, Nursing Boards and pharmacy and private practitioners from March 28 to 29.
According to a press release from the coordination in charge, ABDM, National Health Authority Resource Persons Saurav Kumar and Anubhav Puri gave orientation and hands-on training on setting up Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA Ids ) and health facility registers. and healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses.
State Mission Director Ajit Kumar Ranjan informed that over 2,35,000 ABHA accounts have been opened in the state so far. The chief medical officers have been designated as the nodal agents for the registration of health facilities in the system, according to the statement.
The ABDM mission would enable seamless and secure digital access to electronic personal health records to relevant stakeholders and ensure efficient case management and pan-India flow of information to healthcare professionals, insurers, etc. , based on the consent manager framework. , he noted, adding that it would give a boost to various digital interventions, including the roll-out of Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) in all district hospitals.
